NBA Guatemala Mission Trip 2018

April 14-21, 2018

Details:

The Nashville Baptist Association has voted to partner with churches in Guatemala City as a part of the Guatemala / TBMB partnership. Bruce Cullum from Grace Baptist Church will lead our April Trip. We hope to have a team of 25 people. Any member of an NBA church is welcome to join the team. The mission effort will consist of two components: Medical and Construction Teams. The Nashville Baptist Association is providing $15,000 to cover the cost of medical supplies and construction materials that will be purchased in Guatemala.

Medical Teams

We are in need of every level of medically licensed persons, including those holding doctors, masters, bachelors, associates degrees, as well as other licensed positions. Pharmacists and other specialists are also needed. Teams will consist of 4 to 6 members, and will include a Guatemalan doctor as well.

Construction Teams

Each team will consist of 4 or 5 people, including an American contractor and a Guatemalan contractor. However, any person with a basic construction and handy-man type skill level, and who is able to do physical labor will be needed.

Cost:

The cost of the trip is approximately $1800 / participant. This includes airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation on the ground in Guatemala City. This does not include personal costs such as passports, personal supplies, travel medicines, and incidentals.

  • A deposit of $875.00 due on January 5, 2018.
  • Final payment due on February 5, 2018.
